Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic disease that often causes complications, one of which is diabetic ulcers. Diabetic ulcers not only impact the patients physical condition, but also affect psychological aspects, especially changes in body image. The increasingly severe degree of ulcers can cause changes in body shape and function, limited mobility, and impaired self-acceptance. This study aims to determine the relationship between the degree of diabetic ulcers and changes in body image in Diabetes Mellitus patients in the inpatient ward of Grandmed Hospital Lubuk Pakam in 2025.
