PENGARUH RETRO WALKING EXERCISE TERHADAP INTENSITAS NYERI EKSTREMITAS BAWAH PADA PASIEN OSTEOARTHRITIS DI RUANG INAP RUMAH SAKIT GRANMED LUBUK PAKAM TAHUN 2025
Osteoarthritis is a degenerative joint disease often experienced by adults and the elderly, with the primary complaint being lower extremity pain that can interfere with functional activities and quality of life. Osteoarthritis pain management is not only carried out pharmacologically, but also through non-pharmacological interventions such as physical exercise. This study aims to determine the effect of retro walking exercise on reducing lower extremity pain in osteoarthritis patients in the inpatient ward of Grandmed Hospital Lubuk Pakam in 2025. Conclusion: Retro walking exercise has a significant effect in reducing lower extremity pain in osteoarthritis patients. This intervention can be used as a non-pharmacological therapy in osteoarthritis pain management in hospitals.
