Post-traumatic patients after traffic accidents often experience anxiety due to fear, shock, pain, and uncertainty about their physical condition and safety. Anxiety that is not adequately addressed can worsen the patient's psychological condition, hinder the medical treatment process, and reduce the patient's ability to adapt in emergency situations. This study aims to determine the relationship between Psychological First Aid and anxiety levels in post-traumatic patients after traffic
accidents in the Emergency Department. Psychological First Aid has been shown to have a significant relationship with reducing anxiety levels in post-traumatic traffic accident patients. Providing PFA helps patients feel safer, calmer, and more able to cope with traumatic situations and medical procedures.
