PENGARUH SLOW BACK MASSAGE TERHADAP PENURUNAN ITENSITAS NYERI DAN TINGKAT KECEMASAN PADA PASIN POST OP FRAKTUR EKSTREMITAS BAWAH DI RUANGAN 4T RUMAH SAKIT GRANMED LUBUK PAKAM TAHUN 2025

This study aimed to determine the effect of slow back massage on reducing pain intensity and anxiety levels in patients after lower extremity fracture surgery in Ward 4T of Grandmed Hospital Lubuk Pakam in 2025. This study employed a quasi-experimental design with a pretest–posttest control group. The sample consisted of 47 respondents, including 24 respondents in the intervention group and 23 respondents in the control group, selected using purposive sampling. Pain intensity was measured using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS), while anxiety levels were measured using the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS).
