HUBUNGAN TINGKAT DEPRESI DENGAN KUALITAS HIDUP PADA PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS TIPE 2 DI RUANG RAWAT INAP RUMAH SAKIT GRANDMED LUBUK PAKAM TAHUN 2025
Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a chronic non-communicable disease whose prevalence continues to increase and can cause physical and psychological impacts. This disease requires long-term management, often leading to emotional distress, stress, and depression. The results showed that the majority of respondents experienced moderate depression as much as 50.0%, and most respondents had a poor quality of life category of 50.0%. The Chi-Square test yielded a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant relationship between depression levels and quality of life in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
