PENGARUH PEMBERIAN BIBLIOTHERAPY TERHADAP TINGKAT KECEMASAN ANAK YANG MENGALAMI HOSPITALISASI DI RUMAH SAKIT GRANDMED LUBUK PAKAM TAHUN 2025

Hospitalization is an experience that can cause anxiety in children due to an unfamiliar environment, medical procedures, and separation from family. Anxiety that is not properly managed can hinder the child’s recovery process. One non-pharmacological intervention that can be used to reduce children’s anxiety is bibliotherapy, which utilizes illustrated storybooks as a medium to help children express their emotions and divert attention from the stress they experience. Objective: This study aimed to determine the effect of bibliotherapy on the anxiety levels of hospitalized children in Ward 2D at GrandMed Lubuk Pakam Hospital in 2025.
