Purpose: To determine the quality of refill drinking water from depots in the area around Batang Kuis Sub-district, Tanjung Sari Village. Method: The research method used is experimental using the (Most Probable Number) MPN 3-3-3 table. Result: The
results of research conducted on 10 samples obtained 2 samples of water contamination with coliform bacteria with a high MPN index of 210/100 ml and 1 sample with an MPN index of 43/100 ml. Based on the Eosin Methylen Blue Agar examination, it was found that the sample contained colonies of Escherichia coli bacteria, producing metallic green colonies. Gram staining gave a microscopic picture of gram-negative basil (-).
