HUBUNGAN FREKUENSI TINDAKAN SUCTION DENGAN FLUKTUASI KADAR SATURASI OKSIGEN PADA PASIEN VENTILATOR DI RUANG ICU RS GRANDMED LUBUK PAKAM TAHUN 2025
Patients on mechanical ventilators are at high risk of developing secretion buildup in the airway. This condition often requires suctioning to maintain airway patency. However, suctioning can affect oxygen saturation levels due to tracheal stimulation, which can trigger temporary hypoxia. Fluctuations in oxygen saturation that occur during treatment can impact the stability of the patient clinical condition. Therefore, it is important to understand the relationship between suctioning frequency and oxygen saturation fluctuations in ventilator patients in the ICU at Grandmed Hospital, Lubuk Pakam. Objective: To determine the relationship between the frequency of suction procedures and fluctuations in oxygen saturation levels in ventilator patients in the ICU of Grandmed Hospital, Lubuk Pakam in 2025.
