PREVALENSI HASIL PEMERIKSAAN HBsAG PADA PENDONOR DI UNIT DONOR DARAH PALANG MERAH INDONESIA KOTA PADANGSIDIMPUAN UTARA
Objective: To determine the prevalence of HBsAg test results in blood donors at the Blood Donation Unit (UDD) of the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) in North Padangsidimpuan City and to describe donor characteristics based on age and gender. Methods: This study used a descriptive design with a quantitative approach. The study sample consisted of all 300 blood donors who underwent HBsAg testing at the UDD PMI North Padangsidimpuan City from March to May 2025. The examination was performed using the immunochromatography method. Results: Out of 300 samples, 295 donors (98%) showed non-reactive HBsAg results, and 5 donors (2%) showed reactive results. The majority of donors were male (85.3%) and were in the 29–39 age range (44%).
