ANALISIS KADAR UREUM DAN KREATININ PADA PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS TIPE 2 DENGAN LAMA MENDERITA >5 TAHUN DI RS BHAYANGKARA TK III TEBING TINGGI

Objective: To determine urea and creatinine levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who have had the disease for more than five years at Bhayangkara Hospital Level III, Tebing Tinggi. Methods: This study employed a descriptive design with a cross-sectional approach. A sample of 16 patients was selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through laboratory tests and medical records, then analyzed descriptively. Results: A total of 68.8% of patients had above-normal urea levels, and 62.5% exhibited high creatinine levels. The remaining patients had urea (31.3%) and creatinine (37.5%) levels within the normal range.
