ANALISA FAKTOR FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KADAR ASAM URAT PADA MASYARAKAT DI LAUT DENDANG DESA PERCUT SEI TUAN

Objective: This study aims to analyze the factors influencing uric acid levels in the community of Laut Dendang, including age, gender, dietary patterns, alcohol consumption, and physical activity. Methods: This study uses a descriptive quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. The sample was selected using purposive sampling from residents aged ≥18 years. Data were collected through questionnaires and uric acid level examinations using a digital device (Easy Touch). Results: Among the 24 respondents, 37.5% had high uric acid levels. Males had a higher prevalence of hyperuricemia (75%) compared to females (18.75%). Respondents aged ≥50 years had a high uric acid level proportion of 70%. All respondents who consumed alcohol had elevated uric acid levels. Consumption of high-purine foods and heavy physical activity also correlated with elevated uric acid levels.
