HUBUNGAN POLA ASUH ORANG TUA DAN PERILAKU PICKY EATER DENGAN STATUS GIZI PADA SISWA-SISWI TAMAN KANAK-KANAK AISYIYAH BUSTANUL ATHFAL LUBUK PAKAM 2026
Data were collected through parenting style questionnaires, picky eater behavior questionnaires, and nutritional status measurements based on WHO standards. Data analysis was conducted univariately to describe frequency distributions and bivariately using the chi-square test to
assess relationships between variables. Chi-square test results revealed a significant relationship between parenting style and nutritional status (p = 0.001), as well as between picky eater behavior and nutritional status (p = 0.002). These findings provide insights into the influence of parenting style on children’s eating behavior and its implications for nutritional status. The results are expected to serve as a foundation for parents, teachers, and health workers in developing preventive strategies and interventions to reduce picky eater behavior and improve preschool children’s nutritional status.
