The results showed that before the educational intervention, 34 respondents (63.0%) had good knowledge, 16 respondents (29.6%) had moderate knowledge, and 4 respondents (7.4%) had poor knowledge. After the intervention, the proportion of respondents with good knowledge increased to 47 respondents (87.0%), while moderate and poor knowledge decreased to 5 respondents (9.3%) and 2 respondents (3.7%), respectively. The Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test yielded a p value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a statistically significant difference between pretest and posttest knowledge scores. Furthermore, 16 respondents showed increased knowledge scores, 1 respondent showed a decreased score, and 37 respondents maintained the same score. In conclusion, nutrition education on Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) had a significant effect on improving the knowledge level of mothers of toddlers at Puskesmas Plus Perbaungan.
