The results showed a significant relationship between fast food consumption patterns and the nutritional status of adolescents (p=0.005). Adolescents with a higher frequency of fast food consumption tended to have abnormal nutritional status, particularly overweight and obesity. The high content of energy, fat, sugar, and sodium, along with the low fiber content in fast food, is presumed to contribute to changes in nutritional status. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between fast food consumption patterns and nutritional status among adolescents at Setia Budi Abadi Perbaungan Senior High School. Therefore, efforts to improve nutrition education are needed to encourage the adoption of healthy and balanced eating habits among adolescents.
