HUBUNGAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN GIZI DENGAN KEPATUHAN DIET RENDAH GARAM PADA PASIEN HIPERTENSI DI RUMAH SAKIT GRANDMED LUBUK PAKAM
The results showed that most respondents had a low level of nutritional knowledge, accounting for 28 respondents (52.8%), and 37 respondents (69.8%) were non-compliant with a low-salt diet. The Chi-Square test showed a p-value of 0.001 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant relationship between
nutritional knowledge level and compliance with a low-salt diet among hypertensive patients at Grandmed Hospital Lubuk Pakam. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between nutritional knowledge level and compliance with a low-salt diet among hypertensive patients at Grandmed Hospital Lubuk Pakam. Health professionals are encouraged to improve nutrition education to increase
patients' compliance with a low-salt diet.
