HUBUNGAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP DENGAN KEPATUHAN DIET PENDERITA DIABETES MELITUS TIPE 2 DI RS GRANDMED LUBUK PAKAM TAHUN 2026
The results showed that most respondents had poor knowledge (53.6%), moderate attitudes (41.1%), and were non-adherent to the diabetic diet (60.7%). The Chi-Square test revealed a significant relationship between knowledge level and dietary adherence (p-value < 0.001). In addition, a significant relationship was found between attitude and dietary adherence (p-value < 0.001).
In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between knowledge level and attitude with dietary adherence among patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus at Grandmed Hospital Lubuk Pakam. Better knowledge and more positive attitudes are associated with higher levels of dietary adherence among patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.
