ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA PASIEN PENINGKATAN KEBUTUHAN METABOLISME DENGAN GANGGUAN PEMENUHAN DEFISIT NUTRISI PADA PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS DI RUMAH SAKIT GRANDMED LUBUK PAKAM TAHUN 2026

This study used a descriptive case study design with a comprehensive nursing care approach. The results: showed that the implementation of independent actions in the form of nutritional management and hyperglycemia management can improve nutritional status and stabilize blood glucose levels in both respondents. The improvement in nutritional status and stability of blood glucose levels was demonstrated by an increase in body weight and a decrease in blood sugar levels. Conclusion: Fulfilling nutritional needs in patients with diabetes mellitus has been proven to improve nutritional status and stabilize blood glucose levels. This is demonstrated by an increase in body weight and a decrease in blood sugar levels in respondents, so that the problem of nutritional needs disorders or nutritional deficits and unstable blood glucose levels can be resolved.
