The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of a guidebook in improving diet compliance in chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis. This study was a quasi
experimental study with a time series design. This quasi-experimental study used a non equivalent control group design, often referred to as a non-randomized control group pretest and posttest design. The population in this study consisted of all hemodialysis patients who were hospitalized, totaling 40 respondents. The sample in this study was calculated using the Slovin formula. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets and questionnaires.
