HUBUNGAN POLA MAKAN DAN AKTIVITAS FISIK DENGAN KADAR KOLESTEROL TOTAL PADA ORANG DEWASA (36-45 TAHUN) DI PUSKESMAS SIALANG DELI SERDANG TAHUN 2026
Dietary pattern data was obtained using the Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ), physical activity data was obtained using the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ), while total cholesterol level data was obtained through cholesterol examination. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate using the Chi-Square test with a confidence level of 95% (α = 0.05). The research results showed that the majority of respondents had a good diet, 50 respondents (54.3%), 43 respondents (46.7%) had moderate physical activity, and 51 respondents (55.4%) had normal total cholesterol levels. Chi-Square test results show that there is a significant relationship between diet and total cholesterol levels (p < 0.001) and there is a significant relationship between physical activity and total cholesterol levels (p = 0.002). The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant relationship between diet and physical activity and total cholesterol levels in adults aged 36–45 years in Sialang Village. People are expected to adopt healthy eating patterns and carry out regular physical activity to help keep cholesterol levels within normal limits.
