HUBUNGAN POLA MAKAN DAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN MENGKONSUMSI MAKANAN ULTRA PROSES (JUNK FOOD) DENGAN STATUS GIZI PADA ANAK SMP SWASTA NUSANTARA LUBUK PAKAM
The results showed that the majority of respondents (22 respondents) had a good level of knowledge (42.3%), a good diet (28 respondents) (53.8%), and a normal nutritional status (27
respondents) (50.0%). Chi-square test results showed a significant relationship between knowledge of ultra-processed (junk) food consumption and nutritional status (p=0.019), and a significant relationship between dietary patterns and nutritional status (p=0.000). It can be concluded that dietary patterns and knowledge of ultra-processed (junk) food consumption are associated with nutritional status among students at Nusantara Private Junior High School in Lubuk Pakam. Therefore, increased nutrition education and the implementation of healthy eating patterns are needed to support optimal nutritional status in adolescents.
