ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA PASIEN DENGAN CEDERA KEPALA BERAT DI RUANG INTENSIVE CARE UNIT RS GRANDMED LUBUK PAKAM

The sample consisted of one person who experienced an emergency at Grendmed Hospital Lubuk Pakam. Data collection was carried out through anamnesis, Primary assessment: Airway, Breathing, Circulation, Disability and medical record documentation study. The results showed that the patient
was in the red triage category, with the primary diagnosis being ineffective airway clearance. In treatment, airway management was implemented which included the semiFowler's position, OPA placement, suctioning, and oxygenation via NRM with a flow of 15 liters per minute. This study emphasizes the importance of rapid and accurate airway management procedures in managing patients with severe head injuries, in order to prevent more serious complications and increase the chancesrecover.
