ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN GANGGUAN POLA TIDUR AKIBAT NYERI PADA PASIEN TRAUMA EKSTREMITAS BAWAH DI RUMAH SAKIT GRANDMED LUBUK PAKAM
The research design used was descriptive analytical in the form of a case study to explore the problem of nursing care for sleep disturbances caused by pain in patients with lower extremity trauma at Grandmed Hospital, Lubuk Pakam. The approach used was a nursing care approach that included assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. In the data review, the patient reported no history of difficulty sleeping or insomnia. The patient reported never taking sleeping medication. Prior to hospitalization, the patient reported having a very good night's
sleep. The priority nursing diagnosis identified by the researchers was Sleep Pattern Disturbance, a disturbance in the quality and quantity of sleep due to external factors. Conclusion: The evaluation of nursing interventions for the patient's problem, namely sleep pattern disturbance related to environmental barriers, was generally achieved on the fifth day of nursing care. Therefore, the intervention could be discontinued.
