FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN RISIKO ERGONOMI DENGAN KELUHAN MUSCULOSKELETAL DISORDERS (MSDS) PADA PEKERJA KELAPA SAWIT DI PT PERKEBUNAN SEI KARI TAHUN 2026
Results:
The majority of workers had high-risk working postures (75.4%), work duration >8 hours (78.9%), older age ≥35 years (68.4%), long length of service ≥5 years (70.2%), and normal BMI (71.9%). Bivariate analysis revealed significant associations between working posture (p=0.033), age (p=0.000), and length of service (p=0.028) with high MSDs complaints. Conversely, no significant associations were found for work duration (p=0.504) and body mass index (p=0.143). Conclusion: Ergonomic risks from awkward working postures, advancing age, and extended years of
service are the main factors driving high-level MSDs complaints among harvesters, outweighing the impact of daily work duration and BMI. The company is recommended to provide ergonomic training and implement pre-work stretching routines.
