HUBUNGAN DURASI SCREEN TIME KOMPUTER DENGAN KEJADIAN ASTHENOPIA PADA PEGAWAI KANTOR RS GRANDMED TAHUN 2026
The results showed that respondents with a high screen time category numbered 31 respondents (70.5%) and a moderate category numbered 13 respondents (29.5%). Respondents who experienced asthenopia numbered 7 respondents (15.9%), while those who did not numbered 37
respondents (84.1%). The Chi-square test results showed a significant relationship between computer screen time duration and the occurrence of asthenopia among office employees at Grandmed Hospital, Lubuk Pakam, in 2026, with a value of p = 0.000 < α = 0.05. It is recommended that Grandmed Hospital, Lubuk Pakam improve the quality of occupational health services, particularly for office employees, by providing ongoing eye health education programs related to rest-period management and the application of workplace ergonomics, and that health workers play a more active role in providing education, motivation, and support related to the prevention
of asthenopia among office employees.
