HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN DAN PERILAKU PENCEGAHAN DENGAN RISIKO PENULARAN TUBERKULOSIS PADA MASYARAKAT DI KECAMATAN PAGAR MERBAU KABUPATEN DELISERDANG TAHUN 2026
This study used a cross-sectional design involving 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using the Chi-Square and Fisher’s Exact Test. The results showed that most respondents had good knowledge (56%), poor preventive behavior (85%), and were at risk of tuberculosis transmission (85%). The analysis
revealed no significant relationship between knowledge and the risk of tuberculosis transmission (p=0.662), while there was a significant relationship between preventive behavior and the risk of tuberculosis transmission (p=0.001). It can be concluded that preventive behavior is associated with the risk of tuberculosis transmission, whereas knowledge is not associated with the risk of tuberculosis transmission.
