PENGARUH SHORT FOOT EXERCISE DAN HEEL RAISE EXERCISE TERHADAP KESEIMBANGAN DINAMIS PENDERITA FLAT FOOT ANAK USIA 6 - 12 TAHUN DI SD NEGERI 101899 LUBUK PAKAM TAHUN 2025
The prevalence of flat foot in Indonesia in children 6-12 years old, 299 (27.5%) students have flat feet and 790 (72.5%) have normal feet. The foot plays a role in supporting a very large load from the body so that when a foot deformity occurs, it certainly causes a lot of interference in activities. Flat foot is a foot deformity in which the medial longitudinal arcus arch does not form or disappears when the child stands. Short foot execise is an exercise that involves the head of the metatarsal bone to pull towards the heel without the toes curling. Heel raise exercise is a strengthening exercise using the muscles for the stabilizers that form the arch of the foot. Objective: To determine the effect of
short foot exercise and heel raise exercise on the dynamic balance of flat foot sufferers aged 6-12 years at SD Negeri 101899 Lubuk Pakam. Methods: This study is a quasi-experimental with one group pre-test and post-test design. The short foot exercise and heel raise exercise interventions were carried out 2 times a week for 4 weeks with a total of 8 times the measuring instrument used was the Balance beam test.
