PERBANDINGAN JUMLAH BAKTERI Staphylococcus aureus PADA PAKAIAN BEKAS YANG DIJUAL DI PASARAN DAN ONLINE
Purpose: To determine the difference of the number of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria in second hand clothes in the market and online. Method: The type of research used was experimental with the Total Plate Count (TPC) method to count the number of Staphylococcus aureus colonies on six used clothing samples at the microbiology laboratory. Result: The research method used was experimental. Results The examination was carried out by the colony count method using Mannitol Salt Agar (MSA) selective media. The results showed that the average number of S. aureus colonies on clothes from the market was higher than clothes from online sales. The average CFU/mL of market clothes were 87,500; 115,000; and 67,500, while online clothes were 41,500; 36,500; and 27,500.
