PENGARUH PELVIC ROCKING EXERCISE TERHADAP PENURUNAN NYERI DISMINORE PRIMER PADA SISWI DI SMAS NUSANTARA LUBUK PAKAM TAHUN 2025
Adolescence is a transitional phase toward adulthood marked by puberty, including the onset of menstruation. One common complaint during this period is dysmenorrhea, or menstrual pain, which can disrupt daily activities and academic concentration. A preliminary study at SMAS Nusantara Lubuk Pakam revealed that 41% of female students experience primary dysmenorrhea. This study aims to determine the effect of pelvic rocking exercise on reducing dysmenorrhea pain in adolescent girls. Pelvic rocking exercise is a non-pharmacological therapy that is effective and has various benefits. It is easy to perform anywhere, helps strengthen abdominal and back muscles, and reduces pressure on the lower back, uterine blood vessels, and bladder. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pre-test post-test design, using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) to measure pain levels.
