HUBUNGAN SELF-CARE MANAGEMENT DENGAN KUALITAS HIDUP PENDERITA HIPERTENSI DI DESA HUTA DURIAN KECAMATAN BINTANG BAYU
This study aimed to determine the relationship between self-care management and the quality of life of hypertension patients in Huta Durian Village, Bintang Bayu District. A quantitative research design with a cross-sectional approach was employed. The study sample consisted of 27 respondents selected using total sampling. The instruments used were the Hypertension Self-Management Behavior Questionnaire (HSMBQ) to measure self-care management and the WHOQOL-BREF to measure quality of life. Data analysis was conducted using univariate and bivariate methods, specifically the Chi-Square test with a significance level of α = 0.05. The results showed that the majority of respondents (10 or 37.0%) fell into the "fair" category for self-care management, while the majority (11 or 40.7%) also fell into the "fair" category for quality of life.
