FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN KELENGKAPAN PEMBERIAN IMUNISASI DASAR DIWILAYAH PUSKESMAS PAGAR MERBAU
Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between education, employment, and
knowledge of mothers with the completeness of basic immunization in infants in the work area of the Pagar Merbau Health Center. Method: This study used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The study sample consisted of 41 mothers who had babies aged 11 months. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the Chi-Square test to determine the relationship between variables.
Results: The majority of mothers had a bachelor's ndegree (46.3%), were unemployed (53.7%), and had good knowledge of immunization (46.3%). The results of the Chi-Square test showed that there was a significant relationship between maternal education (p = 0.002), maternal occupation (p = 0.007), and maternal knowledge (p = 0.008) with the completeness of basic immunization in infants. Conclusion: Maternal education, occupation, and knowledge have a significant effect on the completeness of basic immunization in infants. Therefore, increasing education and special support for mothers with low occupations and education is needed to increase the coverage of basic immunization.
