IMPLEMENTASI PENGOLAHAN LIMBAH MEDIS PADAT BAHAN BERBAHAYA DAN BERACUN (B3) DI PUSKESMAS DALU SEPULUH TANJUNG MORAWA
Results:
The findings showed that the management of B3 medical solid waste had been implemented through waste reduction, segregation, containment, temporary storage, transportation, and final treatment stages. Waste segregation was carried out according to waste categories, while containment utilized yellow plastic bags and safety boxes. Temporary storage was conducted in a Temporary Hazardous Waste Storage Facility (TPS B3) before transportation by a licensed third party. Supporting factors included the availability of facilities and infrastructure, standard operating procedures, and management support. Inhibiting factors included limited human resources and the lack of regular training. Conclusion: The implementation of B3 medical solid waste management at Dalu Sepuluh Community Health Center has generally been carried out properly in accordance with the required waste management stages. However, continuous supervision and capacity building for staff are still needed to optimize the management of B3 medical solid waste.
