Objective: To determine the effect of health education on adolescent knowledge about Breast Self-Examination (SADARI) among female students at SMA N 1 Pantai Cermin. Methods: An experimental study with a pre-experimental design using a One Group Pretest-Posttest design was employed. A purposive sampling technique selected 33 female adolescents as participants. The intervention involved providing health education on SADARI to Class X students at SMA N 1 Pantai Cermin. Data analysis was conducted using the paired t-test. Results: The paired t-test analysis revealed a significant difference in knowledge before and after the health education intervention, with a p-value of 0.000 (p < α), leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis (H₀) and acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (H₁). Prior to the intervention, the majority of students (69.7%) had insufficient knowledge, while 30.3% had adequate knowledge. After the intervention, the majority (97.0%) demonstrated adequate knowledge, and only 3.0% had insufficient knowledge. Conclusion: Health education effectively enhanced adolescent knowledge about SADARI at SMA N 1 Pantai Cermin. This intervention is instrumental in raising awareness and understanding of the importance of early breast cancer detection through SADARI.
