EVALUASI PENERAPAN PENGELOLAAN LIMBAH MEDIS DI RUMAH SAKIT GRANDMED LUBUK PAKAM TAHUN 2026
All stages of medical waste management, including segregation, collection, transportation, temporary storage, and disposal through third parties, have been carried out systematically. Supporting facilities such as color-coded waste bins, safety boxes, special trolleys, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and the Hazardous Waste Temporary Storage Facility (TPS B3) are available and functioning properly. However, challenges were still found, particularly in the waste segregation process, where some staff members have not fully complied with SOPs consistently. This indicates the need for improved education, supervision, and staff compliance. The effectiveness of medical waste management is considered fairly good, supported by clear SOPs, staff training, adequate facilities, and routine supervision, although improvements are still needed in staff compliance regarding waste segregation.
