HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP PENJAMAH MAKANAN DENGAN PENERAPAN HIGIENE PERORANGAN PADA PENGELOLA MAKANAN DI SPPG DELI SERDANG LUBUK PAKAM I 2 TAHUN 2026

The research method used is descriptive quantitative with a cross-sectional design. The population in this study was all food handlers at SPPG Deli Serdang Lubuk Pakam I 2, totaling 56 people, with a total sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by administering questionnaires. The results showed that the knowledge of food handlers was mostly in the fairly good category at 41.1%. The attitude of food handlers was mostly in the fairly good category at 55.4%. The application of personal hygiene by food handlers was mostly in the fairly good category at 48.2%. Statistical tests using the Chi-Square test revealed that knowledge and attitudes were related to the implementation of personal hygiene among food handlers (p=0.017 and p=0.036, respectively). The organizers of the MBG SPPG Deli Serdang Lubuk Pakam I 2 need to improve supervision and provide training on hygiene and sanitation to food handlers.
