PENGARUH PERASAN JAHE MERAH (Zingiberofficinale var. Rubrum) TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN BAKTERI Escherichia coli
Method: with the disk diffusion test on Mueller Hinton Agar (MHA). The concentrations of red ginger juice tested were 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. The results: showed that the 50% concentration exhibited the highest antibacterial activity with an average inhibition zone diameter of 5.63 mm, while the 75% and 100% concentrations produced smaller inhibition zones
(1.10 mm and 1.40 mm, respectively), and the 25% concentration showed no inhibition zone. Statistical analysis using the Kruskal-Wallis test indicated a significance value of p = 0.015 (p < 0.05), which means there was a significant difference among the concentration groups.
