PENGARUH AROMATERAPI JASMINE ESSENTIAL OIL TERHADAP NYERI DISMENORE PADA REMAJA DI SMA NEGERI 1 PANTAI CERMIN
Dysmenorrhea or menstrual pain is a common complaint often experienced by adolescent girls, which can interfere with daily activities and quality of life. One non- pharmacological method that can be used to reduce dysmenorrhea pain is aromatherapy. This study aims to determine the effect of Jasmine essential oil aromatherapy on reducing the level of dysmenorrhea pain in adolescent girls. This study used a pre-experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest approach. The sample in this study amounted to 12 respondents selected using a accidental sampling technique. Measurement of pain levels was carried out before and after aromatherapy was given using a numeric pain scale. Data were analyzed using the Paired Sample t-test.
