Exclusive breastfeeding during the first six months of life is essential to support optimal growth and development. However, the success of exclusive breastfeeding is influenced by various factors, one of which is the mother's knowledge. This study aims to determine the relationship between mothers' knowledge and the success of exclusive breastfeeding in Sumber Rejo Village, Pagar Marbau Subdistrict. This research used a descriptive analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. The population consisted of all mothers with infants aged 6–12 months. The sampling technique used was total sampling, with a total of 27 respondents. Data were collected using a questionnaire, and the analysis was conducted using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that most respondents had good knowledge (44.4%) and successfully practiced exclusive breastfeeding (63.0%). The Chi-Square test revealed a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant relationship between mothers' knowledge and the success of exclusive breastfeeding. It can be concluded that the better the mother's knowledge, the higher the likelihood of successful exclusive breastfeeding. Therefore, education and counseling regarding exclusive breastfeeding should be continuously improved to support maternal and child health programs.
