Anxiety is a common issue experienced by postpartum mothers due to physical and hormonal changes following childbirth. High levels of anxiety can affect the recovery process and the mother's mental health. This study aimed to determine the effect of facial acupressure and lavender aromatherapy on reducing anxiety levels in postpartum mothers. A quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest approach was employed, involving 28 postpartum mothers. Anxiety levels were measured using a questionnaire before and after the facial acupressure and lavender aromatherapy intervention. Data analysis was conducted using the Wilcoxon test with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed a significant reduction in anxiety levels, with the mean anxiety score decreasing from 2.86 to 1.86 and a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). In conclusion, facial acupressure and lavender aromatherapy are effective in reducing anxiety among postpartum mothers. Therefore, this method can serve as a non-pharmacological alternative to support maternal mental health after childbirth.
