breastfeeding practices. The objective of this study is to assess breast milk production among working mothers before and after an educational intervention on breast milk expression techniques. Breast milk production was documented using systematic observation sheets. This research was conducted in the village of Sumberejo, emphasizing the local context to provide a comprehensive understanding of breast milk production and the impact of educational support on breastfeeding practices among working mothers. The results of this study are expected to contribute to a better understanding of the relationship between employment and breastfeeding. Additionally, this research offers practical recommendations for policymakers and healthcare practitioners to support working mothers. This thesis underscores the importance of creating a supportive work environment that facilitates breastfeeding practices to improve maternal and child health and well-being. In conclusion, this thesis aims to explain the crucial intersection between employment and breastfeeding, advocate for mothers’ rights to breastfeed, and highlight the need for systemic changes to support them in overcoming these challenges. Thus, working mothers are expected to gain the knowledge and resources needed to successfully breastfeed while meeting their professional responsibilities.
