HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP IBU DENGAN KUNJUNGAN ANTENATAL CARE
Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between maternal knowledge and attitudes with antenatal care visits at Cahaya 2 Clinic, Lubuk Pakam in 2025.
Method: This study used a quantitative approach with a cross- sectional analytical design. The sample consisted of 28 pregnant women selected using the total sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using the Chi-Square test with a significance level of α = 0.05.
Results:The results showed that the majority of mothers had good knowledge (42.9%) and positive attitudes (78.6%). A total of 78.6% of respondents made complete ANC visits. The results of the Chi-Square test showed that there was a significant relationship between maternal knowledge and ANC visits (p = 0.000), and there was a significant relationship between maternal attitudes and ANC visits (p = 0.000).
Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between maternal knowledge and attitudes and antenatal care visits. Increasing knowledge and forming positive attitudes are very important to encourage maternal compliance in conducting regular ANC visits. Suggestion: It is necessary to improve the quality of ANC services by providing educational media that is interesting and easy to understand, as well as creating a comfortable service atmosphere and
