EFEKTIVITAS BUAH APEL TERHADAP EMESIS GRAVIDARUM PADA IBU HAMIL TRIMESTER PERTAMA DI KLINIK PRATAMA BIDAN NINING PELAWATI LUBUK PAKAM TAHUN 2025

Background : Gravidarum emesis is one of the main complications that most often occurs during pregnancy. Gravidarum emesis usually occurs around 60-80% of Primigravida and 40-60% of Multigravida and around 90% of pregnant women happen to suffer from certain health conditions during pregnancy. Excessive emesis can cause dehydration and severe malnutrition which will eventually have an impact on the growth and development of infants. Subjects and
Methods: This study aims to identify the effectiveness of apples in reducing the frequency of vomiting of pregnant women suffering from Emesis Gravidarum. This study uses a Quasi Experiment research method with one group pretest posttest design. The sample used was 32 first trimester pregnant women with emesis gravidarum, 16 of which were the intervention group and 16 control groups. The research instrument consisted of questionnaire sheets. Pregnant women consume 1 apple for 7 days. Data analysis using Paired Sample T-Test.
