Background Pregnancy is a process that occurs between the meeting of sperm and ovum cells in the ovaries or what is called conception until it grows into a zygote and then attaches to the wall of the uterus, the formation of the placenta, until conception grows and develops until the birth of the fetus (putri,2019). Nausea (nausea) and vomiting (emesis gravidarum) are symptoms that are natural and often obtained in first trimester pregnancy. Nausea usually occurs in the morning, but can also occur at any time and night. These symptoms occur approximately six weeks after the first day of the last menstrual period and last for approximately ten weeks. Nausea and vomiting occur in 60-80% of primigravida and 40-60% occur in multigravida (Isnaini and Refiani, 2018).
Objective To determine the effect of giving infused water lemon and red ginger in reducing nausea and vomiting in first trimester pregnant women at the Mandiri Bidan Juliana clinic in 2025. Research Methods This type of research uses a quasi-experimental method (Quasi- Experimental) using the research design One Group Pretest and posttest design, experimental research methods can be interpreted as research methods used to seek the effect of certain treatments on others under controlled conditions.
