HUBUNGAN POLA ISTIRAHAT TERHADAP PRODUKSI ASI IBU MENYUSUI DIKLINIK BIDAN MANDIRI NURHAYATI LUBUK PAKAM TAHUN 2025
Breast milk production is a very important physiological process to support the growth and development of infants. One of the factors that affects breast milk production is the breastfeeding rest pattern. Insufficient rest can disrupt the balance of hormones, such as prolactin and oxytocin, which play an important role in the lactation process. This study aims to determine the relationship between rest patterns and breast milk production in breastfeeding mothers at the Nurhayati Mandiri Midwife Clinic. This study used a quantitative method with a cross- sectional approach. The number of samples was 20 breastfeeding mothers who had babies aged 0-6 months, selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that out of 20 mothers with sufficient rest patterns (26 hours/day), 10 people (89.3%) had smooth breast milk production.
