HUBUNGAN HIGIENE PERORANGAN DAN PEMAKAIAN ALAT PELINDUNG DIRI DENGAN KELUHAN DERMATITIS PADA PEKERJA PENGUPAS UDANG KELURAHAN LABUHAN DELI KECAMATAN MARELAN

The results showed that there was a significant relationship between knowledge and personal hygiene with skin disorder complaints among shrimp peeling workers in Labuhan Deli Village, Marelan District, in 2026, with p-value < α. It is recommended that shrimp peeling workers pay greater attention to personal hygiene practices such as handwashing, maintaining skin cleanliness, and promptly cleaning body parts exposed to irritants. Workers are also encouraged to consistently use personal protective
equipment (PPE), such as gloves, during work activities. Employers are advised to provide adequate sanitation facilities and ensure the availability of proper and comfortable PPE.
