HUBUNGAN DURASI PAPARAN PANAS DENGAN KELUHAN HEAT STRAIN PADA PEKERJA PEMBUATAN BATU BATA DI MELATI II PERBAUNGAN
The results showed that the majority of respondents experienced severe Heat Strain complaints, with 29 respondents (65.9%). Heat exposure duration of more than 8 hours per day was experienced by 17 respondents (38.6%). Statistical analysis showed a significant relationship between heat exposure duration and Heat Strain complaints (p-value = 0.000). In addition, there were significant relationships between age (p-value = 0.001) and gender (p- value = 0.000) with Heat Strain complaints. The conclusion of this study indicates that there is a relationship between heat exposure duration, age, and gender with Heat Strain complaints among brick-making workers. It is recommended that workers improve preventive measures such as managing work-rest schedules and maintaining adequate hydration, and that employers provide supportive work
facilities to promote workers’ health.
