PERBANDINGAN KADAR HEMOGLOBIN (HB) PADA WANITA MASA PRODUKTIF DAN WANITA LANSIA DI LABORATORIUM PATOLOGI KLINIK
Objective: To determine the difference in hemoglobin levels between women of reproductive age (15–49 years) and elderly women (≥60 years) at the Clinical Pathology Laboratory. Methods: This study used a quantitative comparative design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 60 women, including 30 women of reproductive age and 30 elderly women. Hemoglobin levels were measured using a hematology analyzer. Data analysis included the Kolmogorov–Smirnov test for normality and the Independent Sample T-Test to compare groups. Results: The average hemoglobin level in the reproductive-age group was 12.0 g/dL (SD = 1.34), while in the elderly group it was 5.9 g/dL (SD = 1.31). Statistical analysis revealed a significant difference (p = 0.000) between the two groups.
