The results showed that the majority of respondents experienced contact dermatitis (77.1%). Age (p = 0.170) and gender (p = 0.469) were not significantly associated with the incidence of contact
dermatitis. Meanwhile, length of service (p = 0.045), history of disease (p = 0.001), personal hygiene (p = 0.005), and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) (p = 0.001) were significantly associated with the incidence of contact dermatitis. In conclusion, the incidence of contact dermatitis among fish traders is relatively high and is influenced by length of service, personal hygiene, and the
use of PPE. It is recommended that fish traders improve their personal hygiene and consistently use PPE while working to prevent contact dermatitis.
