One common psychological condition experienced by postpartum mothers was postpartum blues, which frequently occurs in the first few days after delivery. If postpartum blues are not properly addressed, they could develop into postpartum depression (PPD), which has long-term impacts on the mother's mental health and the baby's development. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of Hubby Healing Touch therapy on postpartum blues in first-time postpartum mothers at the Matahari Tanjung Morawa Clinic. This study was a quantitative research that is quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all primiparous postpartum mothers at the Matahari Tanjung Morawa Clinic with an average number of 15 people. The sample obtained was 14 people using purposive sampling technique. The statistical test used was the paired sample t-test with a confidence level of 95% (α = 0.05). The results of this study show that there is an effect of Hubby Healing Touch therapy on postpartum blues in primiparous postpartum mothers at the Matahari Tanjung Morawa Clinic (p-value 0.000). It is hoped that midwives will apply and recommend mothers and their husbands to carry out hubby healing touch therapy to prevent the occurrence of postpartum blues.
