HUBUNGAN AKTIVITAS REPETITIF DAN POSTUR PEKERJA DENGAN KELUHAN MUSCULOSKELETAL DISORDERS (MSDS) PADA PEMANEN KELAPA SAWIT DI PTPN-IV REGIONAL I KEBUN IKSA
The majority of repetitive activities were categorized as high at 57.8%, workers’ posture was mostly categorized as high risk at 40.0%, and Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) complaints were mostly categorized as severe at 61.1%. The results of the bivariate analysis showed a relationship between repetitive activities and Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) complaints among oil palm harvesters
with a p-value of 0.041 (p < 0.05). Therefore, workers should pay attention to proper body posture while working to reduce the duration of maintaining awkward working positions. In addition, oil palm harvesters are advised to perform stretching exercises during work breaks to reduce excessive muscle
fatigue.
