PENGARUH JAHE MERAH 9ZINGIBER OFFICINALE VARRUBRUM) TERHADAP EMESIS GRAVIDARUM PADA IBU HAMIL DI PMB NURHAYATI BAKARAN BATU LUBUK PAKAM TAHUN 2025
Method:
This research employed a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. A total of 18 pregnant women were selected using purposive sampling. The intervention involved administering red ginger for several days. The level of emesis gravidarum was measured before and after the intervention. Data were analyzed using the Paired Sample t-test.
Results:
The average emesis gravidarum score before the intervention was 3.06 (SD = 0.639), and after the intervention, it decreased to 2.00 (SD = 0.594). The Paired Sample t-test showed a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant effect of red ginger on reducing emesis gravidarum. Conclusion:
Red ginger is effective in reducing the level of emesis gravidarum in pregnant women. It can be considered a safe and natural alternative therapy for managing nausea and vomiting during pregnancy.
